Un film bazat pe 80 de ore inregistrate la repetitiile lui Michael Jackson pentru concertul de la Arena O2 din Londra va fi lansat post-mortem.
Conform revistei Variety, compania Sony Pictures va plati in jur de 50 de milioane de dolari promoterilor de la AEG Entertainment, care detine drepturile filmarii.
Regizorul filmului "High School Musical", Kenny Ortega, va fi cel mai probabil coordonatorul proiectului.
Filmul nu va consta numai in repetitii, ci si in cel putin trei videoclipuri care trebuiau sa se difuzeze in timpul concertelor lui Michael Jackson in Londra. Perioada de lansare va fi, cel mai probabil, in jur de sfarsitul anului.
Unul dintre videoclipuri va fi o varianta alternativa la celebrul videoclip "Thriller". Clipurile au fost concepute in format 3D, insa nu se stie inca daca filmul le va prezenta in acest mod.
Intre timp, a aparut o compilatie cu 11 mixuri ale hiturilor lui Michael Jackson, luate de pe inregistrarile Motown, atat solo cat si cu The Jackson 5. Compilatia a fost lansata ieri, 20 iulie.
Cu siguranta, fanii vor fi mai mult decat incantati de viitorul film, mai ales in conditiile in care a trecut foarte putin timp de la moartea artistului si cererea de cantece de-ale lui este foarte mare.
