Domeniul Neverland al lui Michael Jackson va deveni parc tematic în memoria artistului.

Domeniul Neverland, fosta proprietate a lui Michael Jackson, descrisă de acesta ca "tărâmul unde eu sunt Peter Pan şi mii de copii vin să mă vadă", va deveni parc tematic, consacrat memoriei starului american, informează Sunday Express.
Anunţul a fost făcut de compania Capital Colony LLC, care a preluat Neverland, o proprietate evaluată la 120 de milioane de dolari. Parcul ar putea fi deschis pentru public anul viitor.
Surse de la Capital Colony LLC au anunţat că ferma Neverland, care este în proces de restaurare, va fi vândută unui proprietar privat, cu condiţia ca acesta să păstreze vie amintirea legendei regelui pop, transformând proprietatea într-o atracţie turistică destinată omagierii lui Michael Jackson.
Starul american a cumpărat Neverland în 1988 şi l-a transformat într-un tărâm al fanteziei, cântăreţul invitând sute de copii să beneficieze de atracţiile parcului. Tot Neverland a fost şi cadrul interviului televiziunii ITV din 2003, care a dus la arestarea şi judecarea starului.
Jackson descria Neverland ca pe "casa unde eu sunt Peter Pan şi copiii acestei lumi vin să mă vadă". Artistul a refuzat să mai locuiască acolo, după ce poliţia a percheziţionat de trei ori proprietatea.
